Just a few days ago, Mark Zbikowski dropped by the Jelastic offices. We had a chance to not only catch up with him and learn about what he is doing, but to share with him what we are doing here at Jelastic.

If you don't know who he is, he is a quick run-down:
- Former Microsoft Architect: was there for 25 years
- He designed the DOS executable file format for MS-DOS (has his initials on it)
- Steve Ballmer himself recruited him
- He is widely recognized for coming up with the Installable File System for OS/2
- Was the architect of the NT file systems

He is currently on the board of several companies, including that of our partner Parallels. Some of our team had a chance to sit with him and share our vision for Jelastic and get his feedback. We had a chance to pick his brain on a number of things while discussing our architecture and future plans for Jelastic.
All in all, it was a great day. We enjoyed having him over and know we are lucky to have had a chance to have someone of his calibre and stature in the software world spend a day in our offices.
