Jelastic and ServNet Partner Proving that Mexico is Cloud Ready
Today we are delighted to announce our partnership with ServNet, a Mexican telecommunications company established in 1996, specifically focused on value-added Internet services in the Mexican market.
Analysts predict that the Cloud Computing market in Latin America will grow at a CAGR of 26.1 percent over the period 2013-2018. In November 2014, market research IDC forecast that the cloud will grow 55% by 2018 in Mexico. Cloud computing is gaining traction in the Latin American region and is witnessing its highest growth rate compared to other regions.
The growth of the Cloud Computing market in Latin America is driven by several factors, one of which is the increasing adoption of cloud-based solutions in SMEs. In order to deliver better services and achieve greater operational efficiency, SMEs are adopting cloud solutions.
Below is an excerpt of the press release
“The Mexican and Latin American cloud market potential is huge! Parts of the region don’t have the required technological infrastructure to manage large data sets, so the majority will have to look to private and public clouds as an alternate entry point to a new and competitive landscape,” said Ruslan Synytsky, Jelastic CEO. “Our partnership with ServNet means that together, we can now bring all the advantages and proven benefits of Jelastic’s cloud platform to customers in country, or to customers looking for a location in Mexico.”
Through ServNet Elastic Cloud, solutions are tailored to the needs of each company ensuring high availability of applications that scale elastically, both horizontally and vertically and automatically load balanced information on one or more servers. This ensures that applications run efficiently, delivering information quickly, without saturating the system with simple configurations and paying only for services, applications and resources used.
“For greater coverage to our customers, ServNet established an alliance with Jelastic to generate high service availability and easy operation, suitable for all Mexican companies, regardless of size or budget and to expand operations in Mexico and the Latin American market,” said Sergio Saidman, CEO, of ServNet.
