Jelastic Adventures in Amsterdam: Microsoft Hackathon and WHD.local

| September 8, 2015

Last week, Ihor Kolodyuk, our Technical Director, participated in Microsoft Hackathon and visited WHD conference in Amsterdam. So now we are happy to share the impressions and, of course, some photos from the events.

Microsoft Hackathon

That was an amazing meetup of technical gurus from different countries and companies, and we were happy to be among them.
During this event Ihor had lots of talks and technical discussions with Microsoft engineers in order to improve our current joint solution - Jelastic VPC and Hybrid Cloud based on Azure.  Also, he created the addon with the aim of providing an ability to link Azure Traffic Manager to Jelastic Load Balancer.
As a result, we receive:

  • powerful traffic management abilities
  • geo-route is now available in Jelastic Hybrid Cloud based on Azure
  • new failover abilities for Jelastic entry points

Really soon this technology will be fully available on productions and customers of Jelastic Cloud based on Azure will be able to try it out and discover the provided benefits.
And now enjoy some photos from Microsoft event:

WHD.local in Amsterdam

Being in Amsterdam, Jelastic could not miss a chance to visit WHD.local. We love WHD conferences, and this one was not the exception.
Ihor met our technical partners among exhibitors and discussed newly added technical solutions in our DevOps platform that will be live in the upcoming release of Jelastic 3.4 (planned for the end of September) and our plans for future cloud adjustments.
Also, it was a really great chance to get in touch with our hosting partners from Netherlands. So there was meeting with representatives from and We believe such live meetings greatly contribute to our partnership collaboration as we can receive a thorough feedback on the product, support quality, the needs of partners and their customers.
As usual, we met several potential partners, so we hope Jelastic Partnership Ecosystem will be enlarged soon.
Happy to share some photos with you.

Thank you to Microsoft and WHD for the great events and our pleasure to participate in them!
